Dot grid paper at your notebook's size
Choose the spacing, the dot weight and your notebook size, and download dot grid, graph or lined paper as a crisp PDF. Free, no sign-up.
Print at 100% or actual size, never “fit to page”. The 50 mm check line under the page tells you if the scale is right.
Which dot spacing to choose
5 mm is the spacing used in most dot grid notebooks, including the dotted Leuchtturm1917, so choose 5 mm when a printed page has to line up with the pages around it. 4 mm gives a finer grid for small handwriting. 6 to 8 mm leaves more room for lettering and bigger boxes, and the 1/4 inch option matches US quad paper.
Dot grid, graph or lined
Switch the ruling to graph for squared paper or to lined for writing. Light dots nearly vanish behind your ink once the page is filled in. Medium and bold are easier to see while you draw boxes and columns without a ruler. Grey prints softly on any printer; ink colour uses the colour you picked under Ink.
Sizes
Print a full sheet of US Letter or A4, or a page trimmed to A5, Leuchtturm1917 A5, B5, B6, Half Letter, Traveler's Notebook regular. The grid is centred on the trimmed page, so the margins are even on all four sides.
Printing at the right size
Open the PDF and print it at 100% (some printers call this “actual size”), not “fit to page”. Each PDF has a 50 mm check line under the page: if it measures 50 mm on your printout, the scale is right. Cut along the corner marks and glue or tape the page in.
